Thank-you to all members who attended the TAA Summer Convention June 3 & 4! There were many smiling faces of members enjoying the good food and company during the Banquet that was held in conjunction with awards, contests and fun auction. Our goal of raising $10,000 during the fun auction could not have been met without everyone’s support. Members donated great items like fishing trips, hams, weekend get-a-ways, collectibles and newspaper ads. The largest part of the proceeds came from Lieutenant Governor Ron Ramsey selling the 3 Certified Copies of the Proclamation from the state of Tennessee declaring March 28th Auctioneers Day in the state. John C McLemore, Bankruptcy Trustee and former chairman of the TAC conducted continuing education on Monday June 4th. Conventions like this are only successful when Auctioneers, like you, show support and participate. Our Association is moving toward the future; don’t be left out attend the next TAA Convention.
